How to Join
Sachse Amateur Radio Association Membership
Getting involved is easy. If you are licensed amateur radio operator and would like more information about the association, or are interested in joining us, feel free to join our weekly "Ham Radio in Sachse" On-The-Air Information Net each Wednesday night.
You are also welcome to attend our general membership meeting the 2nd Thursday of each month at the North Pointe Church (7030 SH-78 N, Sachse, TX 75048). The meeting starts at 7:30pm and usually lasts about 90 minutes. Click on Club Activities for more details.
Membership is open to all licensed Amateur Radio operators, their families, and anyone with an interest in Amateur Radio activities.
REGULAR: A regular member shall be any FCC licensed amateur radio operator who does not fall under the special provision of an associate or student membership. Regular member dues are $25.00 per year unless prorated.
FAMILY: A family membership shall be any FCC licensed amateur radio operators and non-licensed family members interested in amateur radio who live in the immediate household. Family member dues are $30.00 per year unless prorated.
ASSOCIATE: An associate member shall be any person maintaining membership to support the association but who does not hold a license as a radio amateur. Associate member dues are $10.00 per year and are not prorated.
STUDENT: A student member shall be any FCC licensed amateur radio operator who is currently enrolled as a full time student, is 18 years of age or younger, and is not otherwise eligible to be included in a family membership. Student member dues are $10.00 per year and are not prorated.
Membership is renewable annually on September 1st.

NOTE: We only check the PO Box every few weeks due to the low volume of mail we get.
